The inevitable departure of Jennifer

Another one down, good thing I keep making new friends, because I sure have had a lot leave me!!!!

This one was harder than the other ones, because she spent a good chunk of the past two weeks living at my place. Her internship ended, but she wanted to stick around a few days before she ran off on a whirlwind adventure to hike the inca trail in Peru, and then returned to spend a few more days as my house guest before taking off for the states a few days ago. I am not going to lie, by the end we were acting a little bit like sisters with cabin fever and maybe wanting to hurt the other one a little bit….but we survived, and are all the better for it!

So after many intense days of Jenn, my house is suddenly empty…and another friend has left me. These only keep getting harder, because the longer I stay, the longer I know people for before I have to let them go….

Jennifer Drapisch (this is going to be interesting because I already did one for her birthday, so I will have to be creative)
Completed a really fascinating project with the program involving marketing workshops and a accompanying manual, talk of the town!
Favorite food is Fruitgrams and any salvado cracker she can get her hands on
Adores Mendoza
Always works hard, some Argentines would say too hard
Makes a mean squash and cucumber tarta
Has a beautiful smile when she smiles
Was a real trooper making it through her going away party despite returning from Peru that day exhausted, deathly ill, sun burned and with a bum knee
Is really quite a wonderful person

Argentina will miss you…
